Welcome to FitELITE! Eau Claire's newest and most progressive workout facility.
The FitELITE philosophy is based on the idea that the human body is an interconnected machine and should be trained that way.
The training philosophy at FitELITE is based on function and core strength. Working out on a machine decreases the body's ability to engage the core properly. At FitELITE, we challenge you to increase your fitness level. We are not interested in selling you a membership. Instead, we are focused on engaging you in a real fitness experience. You will be moving, getting stronger, and becoming more confident. After training at FitELITE, you will realize that this is the way you should train all of the time. You will see results sooner in a fun, energetic atmosphere.
All trainers at FitELITE are certified personal trainers with various educational experiences and knowledge. They are also committed to a healthy lifestyle.
We are primarily a personal training and group training facility. We also provide classes to anyone interested. Classes are not your standard aerobics classes. They are full-body workouts designed to allow you to obtain maximum results. At FitELITE, we push you to your own personal limits because we see challenge as an opportunity to grow both physically and personally. Exercises can be modified to any level of fitness. So, come in and check us out. The first class is free! Or, if you are interested in personal training, come talk to us and find out more about what FitELITE can do for you!

What is FitELITE?
FitELITE is a one-on-one and group training facility. FitELITE has a strong belief in developing core strength while conditioning the body. FitELITE programs are designed and developed to help increase your strength, stamina, balance, coordination, agility, speed, power, muscular and cardiovascular endurance to make a better you. You will be conditioned through constantly varied, high-intensity functional training movements. FitELITE offers one-on-one and small group training along with classes and even team building classes.
How do I get started?
Your first workout at FitELITE is FREE! We back what we believe by inviting individuals to come give it a try. We want you to see the benefits with a hands-on approach. No matter if you are a beginner or are in advanced physical condition, FitELITE can accommodate and meet your health and wellness needs and goals.
Why should I choose FitELITE's functional training methods over conventional training?
Conventional training generally takes a considerable amount of time to complete. For example, many individuals have been taught to train using either cardiovascular training first or second in their workouts and start or finish with resistance training. Conventional training can take anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete. In this day and age, many individuals do not have this time to complete a workout (family, job, etc.).
At FitELITE, we combine all training into one constantly varied, high intensity workout. FitELITE training is designed to tax the body within a short period of time. Within a workout, you will positively stress your aerobic (cardiovascular) and anaerobic (high intensity/short duration), along with muscular strength and endurance all in one 20-40 minute workout. FitELITE emphasizes the use of functional movements because of their unique capacity to be performed at relatively high intensities (more work in less time). “During a workout, you will move larger loads and go long distances very quickly! You can squat, dead-lift, and push-press more weight, longer distances, in much less time than you can performing bicep curls, lateral raise, or a leg extension (CrossFit).
What can I expect from my first workout?
At FitELITE, we are very cautious with first timers and will ease you into conditioning so that the first experience will be a good one. Depending on your physical condition, we will gauge a very basic workout tailored to your abilities. Bring clothing that is comfortable for training, along with a pair of running shoes or cross-training shoes to run in. If you have physical limitations from an injury or illness, we will make sure to make appropriate modifications. After the first session, if you feel that the intensity was not enough, let us know and we will make sure to step up the intensity the next time you come in. This also goes for those that feel that their workout was too intense. Since intensity is relative to your emotional, mental, and physical capacity, it is sometimes hard to determine one’s fitness level. As the trainer develops a better rapport with you, he/she can tailor your workouts to fit your abilities while, at the same time give you attainable goals to work towards.
Is there a warm up?
At FitELITE, we will teach you a warm up that we feel is effective to prepare you for the workouts. The warm up can be done every time you come in. Depending on your level of flexibility, we may add some stretches to your repertoire.
Is there a cool down?
We recommend that you stretch out after your workout. By doing so, you will minimize soreness and increase flexibility, which helps aid in preventing injury.
How do I sign up?
Contact one of our trainers at FitELITE (715) 514-1264. FitELITE has one-on-one and small group training, along with our FitELITE classes.
Will I be sore from the workouts?
You will notice some soreness throughout your body, but that should come as a wakeup call rather than thinking this style of training is too hard. If a person of the same age, weight, and gender is able to handle training at high intensity, then you should be able to handle a workout at lower intensity with lower loads (weights) and volume (length and number of repetitions in a training session). Believe in yourself and commit to making a positive change in yourself today!
Should I rest when I am sore?
The answer to this question is NO. We stress active recovery. When you are sore, make sure to move and exercise in some fashion to get blood flowing throughout your body. Also, try not to rest for more than three days as you may start to lose ground on your fitness.
How many times do you recommend coming in for beginners?
We recommend three times per week to get the benefits that we advocate and for you to reach your goals. After the first couple of weeks, you may increase your attendance to five days a week; however, leave at least one to two recovery days per week.
What if my knees are sore when I squat?
Most problems with knees are hardly ever due to the knee itself. It is either something going on above or below the knee. We have found that 90% of knee issues are due to having improper squat technique and/or very tight iliotibila band (IT) bands. These are conditions that we can assist you with at FitELITE.
Will I get big or gain weight doing FitELITE?
Most of our members experience weight loss even without a good diet; however, at FitELITE we recommend good nutrition to advance the results. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. Lean muscle weight gain signifies you are able to burn more calories efficiently throughout the day. Exercise and nutrition go hand-in-hand. If you want the best results but question your nutrition, talk with our trainers regarding nutritional plans. Remember, you are only given one body; why not make the most of it?
How much do the classes cost?
You can purchase 8 classes for $96 ($12 per class) or 12 classes for $120 ($10 per class). Here at FitELITE, we want you to get results, and with results comes consistency with your workouts. You will have 6 weeks to complete your class punch cards.
