Can A Supplement Positively Impact Your Life?

As a team, here at FitELITE, we are always brainstorming ways to make those we are blessed to be a part of have a world class experience by positively impacting their health and wellness journeys.

We strive to educate and inspire from coaching on and off the floor, to the workouts, to learning important information on sleep, how to deal with stress, and in general how to better the human experience.

I, personally, am a huge believer in the small details of life which are a culmination of reaching the results and ultimately finding the fulfillment you are seeking.

I learned early on in my nutrition and fitness journey the importance of getting enough nutrients to help my body be healthy and as efficient as it possibly can be. With that said, nothing will ever beat real solid nutritious food. Let me repeat that for you...nothing beats real food.

However, it is really challenging in our daily lives to get all we need to keep our bodies working in prime condition...hence why we have fast food chains galore in our environment.

Nope, this blog is not about different healthy restaurants to stop in at for a bite to eat. It is about the other details in life such as simple supplementation to get what your body needs to perform the demands you place on it daily.

I’ve been asked countless times throughout my journey coaching nutrition and fitness what are the best supplements to take to keep you feeling amazing? The real answer to this question is it is relative, but there are some specifics to supplements....and I am going to chat about one - magnesium.

Magnesium. Why magnesium? Here is the shotgun approach as to why we all need magnesium to help improve and dramatically impact our beings.

✅ Helps immune system

✅ Helps with existing conditions such as migraines and asthma

✅ Increased bone strength (ladies - fights osteoporosis)

✅ Helps with nerve function (aids in cramping)

✅ Fights inflammation (chronic inflammation can cause lasting damage to your heart/brain)

✅ Has been found to calm the body and mind for a better night of sleep

✅ Has been found to regulate blood sugar levels

✅ Has been found in studies to fight depression

✅ Aids in energy metabolism (helps convert foods you eat to energy)

✅ Research has been shown to help fight the risk of type II diabetes

✅ Lowers the risk of hypertension (may help lower blood pressure)

✅ Has 300+ functions it aids to help your body function properly

Lastly, if you’re not getting a diet rich in foods such as pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, boiled spinach, boiled swiss chard, halibut, black beans, mackerel, avocado, salmon and many more you should really consider supplementing magnesium into your nutrition/supplement world.

I am a creature of habit. I have made this a staple in my own personal nutritional plan and I do so consistently. I take M3 by Puori due to their research on their product and its purity. If you want to look and feel the best you can remember the little things that can have a lasting positive impact on your overall health and wellness.

May your journeys be filled with as much energy and happiness as you provide it. Take the challenge, become informed, level up and feel amazing. Until next time...continue to positively impact yourself to bring the “ripple effect” to all those who surround you.
