You Can't Manage What You Don't Measure

Take a second or two and think back on all the goals you have achieved throughout your life. Maybe you were saving to buy your first home or car or maybe it was a goal to read a particular book you put off for some time. Maybe it was to get certain grades in school or obtain that degree you sought out to achieve.

I know this blog sounds as if I am referencing goals. I am, but not directly. As I have referenced in just about every blog I’ve posted, I have been in the fitness industry for many many moons (sort of dating myself here :0).

I have watched many many success stories and also some that have never been able to reach the pinnacle they’re looking to obtain. Each and every person I have been so blessed to work with I see walk into the doors of FitELITE for the first time and I have my own personal vision for them...that vision is their greatness, as well as the rest of the FitELITE team.

Their greatness is seeing them as happy and joyful as they’ve ever been in their lives because they’re healthy from the inside out and I’m not just talking about the physical side. I am referencing the person as a whole...mentally, emotionally, physically, and even spiritually. Their greatness is what they sit down and talk about their goals they’re looking to achieve.

I have said this more than once to individuals…”I will believe in you more than you believe in yourself until you do.” Ultimately what I am speaking of, if we really want to get clear, is all of us reaching the highest self-esteem, self-image, and self-confidence we so desire in our lives. The three I just mentioned are for another blog in the future.

For those that are reading this blog, maybe this is you or maybe it is someone you care about that needs to read this. Now, whatever it is you’re after and hopefully it is to feel and look your best, how do you know when you’re there?

For some, the answer can be as simple as setting some reflection time on each of the areas I described earlier in the blog on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual sides to life.

“Am I where I want to be?”

If the answer is a resounding YES...I am EXTREMELY excited for you as I know this has and will not only impact you but everyone around you in your world. If it is a no, then it is time to ask yourself some questions on what it is you exactly want and maybe need to make some changes.

Change is not easy. It will never be. It can be painful at times. Change involves many many challenges but that is where personal strides are made in your life. If it feels like a struggle but you keep moving and making the little impacts/gains/changes...you’re steering the compass where it needs to go.

Trust me..I’ve been through it all and continue my own personal journey and struggles toward the fulfillment I am after. I believe in you...and the Coaches of FitELITE believe in you.

We all at FitELITE go beyond the great workouts we provide. It is our goal to provide fun energetic workouts, to work with the individual to provide the necessary means outside the workout to be successful.

From nutritional coaching, workshops and seminars, one-on-one and group training, to quarterly InBody scans to make sure you’re on track. We are here for you. I cannot stress the importance of getting these scans done consistently to help you stay the course. You cannot manage what you don’t measure.

Until next time, keep pressing on. Keep challenging yourself. Keep defining your own personal greatness. Reflect on the challenges you face and tell yourself this is where I need to be at this particular point in your journey to get where it is you want to go. All the good stuff is on the other side. Believe!
